I love personal development books. I also love Carol Tuttle’s work, and I have been looking forward to this book ever since she announced it was coming. Carol takes her personal life experience and her years of work in energy healing, and she gives you the practical tools to turn your life around in six major areas: spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, financial and relationships. Who doesn’t want to tweak or improve your life in one or more of these areas?
Carol is redefining what affluence means and she helps you actually get there. I have read a lot about mindfulness, the need to focus on gratitude, and positive thinking. Carol’s work helps me take all of this to the next level and implement a practical strategy to manifest affluence in my life.
I haven’t been using Carol’s tools from this book for very long, but even in the last few weeks, I feel like I am moving forward to manifest what I want. I am particularly drawn to the section on mental affluence right now. I have recently experienced that I can replace the mental script of lack in my mind with phrases of affluence: “What is correct for me shows up at the right time.” Meditating on this helped me feel completely at peace with my result in a recent writing contest, for example. I didn’t place as high as I would have liked. And then I was assigned a genre in which I don’t care to write. But the correct thing for me showed up. I skipped the writing contest and I attended a writing conference instead. At the conference, I was exposed to excellent presentations that will help me take my work to the next level. If I had tried to write for the contest, I would have missed these presentations. The correct outcome manifested for me.
Mastering Affluence is not one of those books you will read with the idea that you should do what the writer suggests to improve your life. This is one of those books where you are eager to get to the important work of using these tools right away so you can benefit as soon as possible.
I highly recommend this book if you love personal development tools as much as I do. Even if you have never tried reading a personal development book, I think you will love this one. It cuts to the heart of what personal development is all about. You can take the long route and read from many authors. There is nothing wrong with that. But if you value efficiency and targeted tools that help you achieve your goals quickly, this is the book to read. Thank you, Carol, for helping us to manifest an affluent life.
