Where do you get your ideas?
I tend to get ideas for stories from random musing or from a great story prompt. I have often said that story prompts fuel my creativity in a way that nothing else does. But these sources aren’t true for everyone. If you need suggestions, why don’t you try the podcast my group just posted on this subject?
I am part of a great writers’ group that meets weekly to critique members’ work and to support one another in our writing journey. Our first episode is live on YouTube.
In addition to this week’s topic, we’ll discuss a variety of other topics in writing in coming weeks.
My partners in this endeavor include (in alphabetical order):
- Avis Adams, an amazing published poet and fellow YA writer
- Carl Lee, a writer of paranormal fantasy
- Melanie MacDonald, a mystery writer
- Wendy Kendall, the author of a published cozy mystery
